TEASER TRAILER : Plan.

  • What is the movie going to be about?
  • It is going to be a romance with a dramatic twist.
  • Its going to be live action.
  • Dont want to give lot away, keep the audience hooked and guessing.
  • Short series of clips put together.
  • got to be between 30-60 seconds - very quick.
  • Containe the minimum amount of footage from the film, so it just teases.
  • Release way before the film is meant to come out, so put a late date on it.
  • Pace to start of slow and want it to pick up.
  • music in background, want it to prefrably start of slow and build up speed and volume like the edited clips.
  • Voice over.
  • no speaking from action footage.
  • Boy meets girl, tragic ending, not traditional love ending.
  • Love triangle.
My plans for my film trailer is to show short sharp shots from my film idea to immediately plant questions and thoughts into the audiences head. My plan was to have a lovely romantic romance film the whole audience will fall in love with. After some time and a lot of thinking i then realised that simply on its own my plan and ideas weren't going to sell unless i included something different and with a twist. so here it is.... Its going to be a live action production about a couple innocently in love until something unusual not so innocent comes into their lives and interrupts everything. The idea behind a teaser trailer is to not give anything away or tell the story, i want to keep the audience hooked and to go home after viewing the product and still be interested in finding out what the trailer and upcoming film was about.
